Honorary Doctorates
An Honorary Doctorate is a highly prestigious award conferred on an annual basis in recognition of individuals who have demonstrated in their life and in their work high standards of excellence as evidenced by scholarship or creative activity; by professional development and achievement; by public service to the world, the nation, the state, or the community; in wholehearted commitment to the whole person; or who have given meritorious service to the school.
Submission of Nominations
Nominations can be submitted to the university via WY Project Leadership Academy by attaching an up-to-date biographical note. If, for any reason, this cannot be provided and details of the candidate are not available in standard reference books such as ‘Who's Who’, a note should be given of people who can be contacted by the university to provide further information on the candidate.
*Please make it clear that your nomination for an Honorary Doctorate from Southwest State University, Russian Federation and SABI University, France must be kept confidential and the nominee should not be informed. When making a nomination for an Honorary Doctorate, this should be done in the strictest confidence and must not be discussed with the potential recipient.
