Master of Project Management and Leadership


Project management and leadership knowledge is essential to the successful planning, development, leading, and delivery of projects. These project types can vary. They can range from organising an outdoor event to the design and construction of a submarine. The Master of Project Management and Leadership programme provides a comprehensive business-ready foundation that will equip students from any background with the knowledge required to develop a career and expertise in project management. External speakers from leading property developers, IT firms and project management consulting companies contribute to case studies and workshops.


Curriculum Structure


Duration of Study


11 Courses + 1 Capstone Project over the period of 12 months


Medium of Instruction

All teaching is delivered in English and/or Chinese, using a collaborative style that means students learn from the experiences of their fellow participants, as well as from faculty.


Methods of Assessment

The university adopt the case-study based assignment approach to assessment instead of exams. All assignments are based on real life practical work experience and assessed by tutors on an ongoing basis. Assessment will be based on a combination of written coursework, discussion contributions and work on a management report.


Admission Requirements

A minimum of 3 years’ work experience gained after completing a recognised undergraduate degree or equivalent qualifications; or a recognised diploma/associate degree with a minimum of 5 years’ work experience and a demonstrable record of professional achievement.
